Jason Mraz recently did a show for Suffolk University at The Roxy here in Boston and I snagged some cool stuff working backstage with the crew. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying a package of concert memorabilia including this: -a Jason Mraz Suffolk University Concert flier/postcard in perfect condition -an authentic, one of a kind, Suffolk students only concert ticket thrown on stage while Jason was performing -a set list that was on stage with Jason Mraz and his band -a medium-sized unisex concert shirt from the show. black fabric with white font. I can also see if there are any actual concert posters left over from the show to throw in with the lot. how much would this be worth to you guys? I worked Crew for the show, as well as working the committee who helped organize the event months ahead of time, and whatever get's left behind, or whatever was in possession when I helped put the show together, I'm free to sell if I choose. Posts: 5727 (10/11/08 03:27 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	you're only free to sell it because nobody is going to care enough to stop you. it probably rightfully belongs to the university or whatever organization paid to have everything made/printed/etc. i'm sure you didn't cover any production costs. that said, if you didn't take it somebody else would have, so whatever. your logic is funny though that you have to sell for over a certain price considering you just found and took the stuff. i agree, just toss it up on ebay. i doubt many, if any, people here will want to purchase items from a specific show they weren't even at from someone that comes on here making a somewhat shady first post -Jon Recordings List

Ticket stubs are generally used to remember events that one has actually attended... might not get much for that. Same goes for the fliers. I would suggest keeping the setlist. It's more of a collector's item than a piece of memmorabilia with any value. For a sold out show, no one here went. Someone said there was a bitch fight in the front row, though. What's the point of buying stuff from shows that you didn't even go to? Do you plan on posting more stuff here after you give up on trying to make some extra green? Or our you just wasting space? Well, if you stick around...we're good peeps and plus, Jason Mraz is pretty awesome! If not, good luck but I doubt you'd have much luck around here. Someone on ebay may buy the shirt and if they went to the show, they might want the set list but the rest sounds like the recycling gods would appreciate it more than anyone else.

It's a testament to what kind of people they are to offer such needless and rude opinions on a forum that's supposed to be about sharing and community. I think that Stef is right--you'll probably have better luck on eBay. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to run into someone who was at the concert and wants random things to remember it by. You have to realize that the opinions of those people who posted are completely justified. Now, I don't know mandypieck, but it's one thing to offer fans memorabilia from a show and another to make a profit off of it. The show obviously didn't mean much to her since she is selling these products, and instead of offering it to a friend/fan that goes to her school, she's trying to make some compensation off of the official fan site. I think the best way is like others said is ebay, or just offer it at whatever the final shipping price cost. I'm all for giving advice and telling her that eBay may be the best option but she seemed offended by certain things and I was letting her know that sometimes stuff happens here that she might feel isn't entirely friendly but that it's not a big deal and that she doesn't need to be discouraged if/when she does occasionally come across something like that. If I interpreted things wrong, then it's my fault... just trying to see things from the underdog's perspective. Of course, this is entirely based off of giving her the benefit of the doubt and my assuming that she's a real Mraz fan trying to provide a service and not someone just trying to make a quick buck from stuff that was taken from a concert...

You won't be able to sell that stuff on here, so better try ebay. there are a ton of "fans" out there that only get Jason and other artists to autograph things so they can turn around and sell it. I was at a show where some dude had him sign a guitar he'd brought. And wouldn't ya know it, even though he gave some lame story about playing jason's songs all the time, and wanting to remember the moment....he turned around and sold it for MAJOR profit on ebay. you can't stop people from doing it. but, Mandy, you also can't expect some of his fans to not be bothered by it. now that you've all had your say, leave the kid alone. I think we're at the "dead horse" point of this topic and I am out of patience.
