additional notes:
- part of I'm Yours is missing due to tape change at that point
- the recording ends in the middle of I'll Do Anything because the battery was dead (halfway through the show)
Jason played two shows in Berlin, on the 5th and 6th of August, at the Café Dachkammer. Both nights the place was packed with people (actually they only let
in 90 people, but it was a really small venue, so it was very hot and crowded). The second night they let a few people from the crowd sit on the stage, so I
got to record from there. Jason filled many requests that night, and played some new songs as well - the highlight of the show was the Say Anything Game
though, as Jason said himself it was pretty much "the best Say Anything Game in the history of Say Anything Games"! Overall it was a great
atmosphere, lots of singing along and dancing, and nothing but happy faces
As this was my first time recording and tracking a show, I apologize if some of the trackmarks are a bit too early/late, I hope it's not too bad.
Many thanks to Jason and his management for playing such small venues so far from home and giving his European fans the opportunity to experience all the kinds
of awesome those intimate shows are. You guys win!
Also thanks to the taper who taped both nights completely, can't wait for you to release them
I also made & uploaded some coverart in case you burn it to audio CDs....
- front
- back, for normal 2 CD cases (I hope it fits, haven't tested it yet)
- back, for slim jewel cases, you'll have to label which CD's in there
though, sorry (or I'll change it later^^)
