I would definitely do both and if Eric opened it would just be the icing on the cake! Funny story with Eric Hutchinson when Lynda and I met him at the Mountain Music Lounge. The conversation went like this: Me: "I'm sorry we won't in town (in Seattle) to see you" Eric: "oh, where are you going" Lynda and I: "Um..a rode trip" Eric: "Where to?" L and I: "Um....Spokane" Eric: "What are you going to Spokane for" L and I: "Um...something.." Eric: "Come on..What are you guys doing? Are you going to a Jason Mraz concert?" L and I: "Um...yeah" said sheepishly Me: "Dang, I feel like we are cheating on you or something" Eric: "yeah, and then you lied to me" It was too funny! Hilarious that he guessed it was a Jason Mraz concert. Eric's a hoot, great live, definitely worth a rode trip too!

^^^that's funny, he's got such a cynical sense of humor, of which I can totally relate to. Its great.
Also, when he first came out to start the set he said to the DJ, John Fischer, "you told them about the no eye contact thing right?" Ha ha! He seems like a real down to earth guy also. I would say there are similar things about Eric and Jason's personality but his music is quite different. He's got a unique sound and that's not easy to achieve nowadays or maybe artists don't try or just plain lack the talent. This experience was much better then the next day with TP. No offense to any of her fans on here, but, and I like her music, but talking to her is sometimes like talking to a 12 year old. It was odd to feel that way but it made me wonder what J saw in her. Maybe she was in a weird mood that day, didn't she say she had ADD, I can believe that. Sorry, definitely off the subject, I digress...... Your right, it would be great for Eric! A no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

juuuuust putting it out there that i would DIE if eric opened for jason. my vow to cut back on concerts/travelling would definitely have to be broken...
