'Mayhem' by candlelight; Bushwalla AND Dawn Mitschele in Simi Valley;

See it first in Simi: San Diego singer-songwriters Billy "Bushwalla" Galewood and Dawn Mitschele will debut the music video for their melancholy duet "Mayhem Is Beautiful" during the Starlight Concert Series on Tuesday at the CandleLight Kitchen & Bar in Simi Valley, which is indeed adorned with candles. (The duo, pictured, shown during the "Mayhem" video shoot, had their faces painted for the project.); Bushwalla, who describes his sound as "a blend of funk, rock, freestyle, acoustic hip-hop with a soul deeply rooted in authenticity and optimism," just finished opening for Jason Mraz on a national tour and has co-written songs for Mraz's albums. He teamed with acoustic folk musician Mitschele to re-cut his song "Mayhem Is Beautiful" for "Fire Relief," a compilation benefit CD for victims of the 2007 San Diego wildfires.; Also performing Tuesday is singer-songwriter Kelley James.
