I could have simply saved a whole bunch of money and bought the album off of iTunes and burned the CDs myself. I guess I know for next time. I am glad that I have new music, but am just so dissapointed with the physical CDs. I completely agree with what you're saying, TJ. You paid the money for it, it should be in good shape. Unfortunately MusicToday can't control what happens once it hits the mail rooms and whatnot, but it should be packaged better. I also agree with Sara, I find it ridiculous that we aren't getting what we ordered when we PRE ordered. I pre ordered basically the minute it was available. They emailed me telling me my package had been shipped COMPLETE. I got it today and I didn't receive the We Sing or We Dance EP's. If I had known this would be the case I wouldn't have pre ordered considering i've seen several copies of each EP at a record store near my house. I just find this very frustrating and i'm really disappointed. I don't understand why I got an email saying everything from my order had been shipped when I'm missing half of it... Aside from all of this the album is wonderful. I absolutely love it. I could be knit picky and point out little things in songs I don't like but overall this album is amazing. I think it's going to do great on the charts. I actually do like "Lucky" I've seen comments of people saying they don't like it because they don't like Colbie or whatever, but her voice isn't over powering in it or anything. "Make It Mine" is so fun and I, along with everyone else (I think), LOVE Dynamo. I will say that I definitely like the EP version of Coyotes better than the album version though... - Juli - formerly known as: Banana Jewelz

It didn't work with Firefox for me either - but I used a different browser (Safari) and it worked beautifully! Good luck!

Here, I have my standout favourites, like Live High, Love for a Child, and Beautiful Mess, but I can actually can find something to enjoy on every song, even the ones I am not too particularly keen on ...yet. a beautiful mess is still beautiful but i wish he wouldn't have gone falsetto for the "stained our shirts"... still love it though I completely agree. There is this from-the-gut emotion he put behind that lyric on the EP that I absolutely love and was waiting to hear on the album, so I got a bit disappointed with the switch up. But it is still one of my faves.

I know neither of these were part of the EPs (and I think Life is Wonderful was available onnly if you pre-ordered from iTunes). Might be cool to get these... Josh

By the way, to the poster earlier on this page, I also tore it trying to get the booklet and CD out of the case! That upset me greatly, because I'm kind of OCD about this sort of thing. The thing I was wondering about was the lyrics. It said the lyrics were on the CD, but all I got when I put the CD in was a link to a page where I signed up for a mailing list. No lyrics. I really need the lyrics because I'm severely hearing-impaired and can't follow along without them. I haven't been able to listen to the CD yet and it's killing me!

I kind of figured thats why, but the cover is just so thin that it rips right away and its frustrating. To answer your mac question, I used Safari and didn't have any problems. I ended up not ordering the hardcopies - I just don't use them anymore now that I can listen to my Ipod in my car. I am really pleased with the album. I like the raw sounds of the EPs, but also the full band qualities of the complete album. I'm a sucker for a horn section I have a few I like more than others, but overall I really enjoy them all. I took a jog with it today - perfect running music And I like "Lucky" alot. I like Colbie, enjoy her album here and there, and her voice. And heck, I'm partial to the lyrics

The "Steal" EP is pre-order only, making it a legit collector's item. I guess I don't understand how it's a rip off. I mean, the track credits would be nice and stuff but there's only so long one can enjoy that. I personally just wanted the CD quality audio so I can put it on my ipod in Apple Lossless. Since buying from iTunes was plan B, might I suggest you do the same and leave the CD in its sleeve in a nice safe place? It may be rare enough someday you'll be glad you did so. Getting the tracks off iTunes is DRMed lossy audio, which I'm sure you know. It's OK if there's no other outlet for the tunes, but for a voice as sweet as Jason's, I gotta have my lossless quality. If it's the packaging you're into, yea, iTunes might do it for ya then, as what the CD came in offers nothing more beyond the same cover art that is on iTunes. If you want the music in the best possible quality, then the CD does the job it is supposed to. Or, if you REALLY can't stand looking at it, put it up for sale on eBay or on here. It sounds like there are already some RKOP members who would be willing to pick it up from you as they regret not pre-ordering one of the bundles. They might be more forgiving about only getting premium-quality Jason audio, without the packaging bells/whistles. The Music of Jason Mraz: It's coffee for your soul!

Like here it is: we just kinda downloaded it from a friend's computer and want you to have a copy! I don't know that's the way I'm taking it. It seems like a literal interpretation of "stealing" the album. And the whole reducing waste thing I'm sure is part of it too. I understand why people who spend their hard earned money for something super special could feel disappointed though. Oh well. The music is what really counts!! And the music rocks!!
