I'm surprised by this since I'm Yours is the single (they do play i'm yours too). I thought radio stations were only allowed to play the official singles.

My dad has sirius and he says right before an album comes out by an artist, they usually play all the songs from the album to help promote the artist. I was in the car once when Taylor Swift re-released her album and they played every song from it. So its just a little bit different then radio since sirius plays a little bit of everything. It's the first song of his... ever really, that I think I would be embarrassed to play for someone else. On another note, I'm always a little bothered when the media takes too much of a creative license... "At least 100 kids stood patiently, yet intently, as they waited a full three hours before the show was to begin - and nearly five before the main artist would scramble onstage. Nearly every person in line was female and under 25. An observer (well, me) asked the collected masses: "Who has inspired such devotion?" "Jason Mraz," answered an early-twentysomething in line." That's completely not true. My friends and I actually remarked about how the line / crowd was for the most part not young girls like we'd seen at a lot of his concerts in previous years. But I guess stereotyping for journalism is a must, even if it's fabricated stereotyping.

Does anyone know where I can get the full version from the youtube clip? E. He seems to be using the breathy voice thing these days way too much. Am I the only one who has noticed this? Let me just finish by saying that I've been an obsessive fan for years, and I just don't get how these studio albums continue to do nothing but distract from the true talent that is Jason Mraz. All he needs is Toca and Ian. That's it. Ditch the horns and the shitty studio effects. Just keep it basic and true. I'm so thankful that the acoustic versions were also released, but....this is just a hard pill to swallow. Personally, I think the horns add a good vibe with his sound, i doubt if it drowned anything out, Jason wouldn't bring them in in this record and other large shows (this entire tour and Eagles B.R. to name some.) The kids in the background are a first well sorta, Song for a friend was a gospel chorus he used in the sound. and he used a mix of kids and adults in Coyote. The chorus' are something that jason has been doing for a long time, hes used plenty of lyrics (not only the ones from Details) in other songs, IE there is a recording of remedy with Dynamo into etc. he jsut does it to implement different sounds to keep his songs everchanging. I totally agree with the Farewell to Europe idea, I was totally pumped for that version..I even remember saying that is going to be my favorite song from the second I heared it...let down a bit but still awesome.
