Can you not get the connecting flight through to Bergen that I'm on?

I can get on that flight but it's not cheap - this is the bit I don't like - hitching a lift with Bru would be much more affordable
BTW Bru & Cat, Rhys is still undecided and trying to swing it around Uni etc. Can you imagine if he comes too, I'm not sure I'll be able to cope! Cat, I've told him you said "he'sgottago, he'sgottago, he'sgottago!" ah, the memories of Hammy Apollo

1 round-trip ticket Nice / Bergen: 270€ Go to a Jason Mraz's concert with great guys: priceless... Wouhouuuuuu!! I'm pretty excited about this show! 
Especially because Marie, Cat, Iva, Signe and Mike Bruski will be there!

Hey everyone
The bus ride to NHH will take about 5-7 minutes. Just ask the driver to stop at NHH. When you get of the bus you will see a tall building on the other side of the high way. That's NHH. Just walk under the high way crossing, and straight forward. I guess the concert will end at about 1am. There is one bus leaving at 01:07 am (bus 90), and one at 02:01 am (bus 100), both heading back to the city centre~Damo~

that's great, thanks for listing those! I tried to find out the same info myself and managed something from the bus company site, it's this one: http://eng.tide.no/Default.aspx?pageid=756 it does have all the bus schedules but I didn't completely figure out how to read them yet. |

Hello all you there travelling to Bergen to see Mr. Jason himself :)
I'm a norwegian and still stoked that I'm about to see Jason live for the third time. But I thought I should try to maybe help some fellow RKOP'ers out. Travelling to and from Bergen if you land in Oslo (which are were most cheap airlines land). The government funded railway lines have a special price thingie going on thats quite nice. If you're out in due time, a week or so, you should be able to get railway tickets from Oslo to Bergen for 299,- NOK , which is not bad at all, and the trip over the mountains is spectacular and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a 7 hour trainride, comfy enough and with a great wiev. Check out www.nsb.no for those tickets. Now, geting to Norway: I would try to check out www.norwegian.no and see if they have some cheap tickets from and back to your country. Most likely the best choice, cheap yet comfy. RyanAir flies to Oslo aswell I think. In other news I'll try to check out possibilites to see if any friends of mine is interested in arranging a "Vorspiel" (pre-party) before the concert, and hopefully a Nachspiel (after-party) aswell. Seeing as drinking out on the town in Norway can be seriously expensive, atleast if you don't know where to head out. I will check around, can't promise anything. But I guess it would be nice to meet fellow RKOP'ers and maybe take abit o care of them when they're coming all the way to Norway. Will post in this thread if I come over anything. Good Luck in geting tickets =) I got mine the day they released them !WOOP!

An after (and/or a pre-) party would be great - I've got a couple of hours to kill until I get my bus to the airport at 4am, so somewhere to enjoy that
time would be fantastic! Thanks.
I got a bit more info from the festival organisers (in answer to my question about where I can wait -in the warmth- for the first shuttle bus at 4am) which might be useful....It gives suggestions of a couple of pubs that might be open late in the city centre..... "What you can do is to stay at our venue, UKEN/NHH, untill we close at 03:30, and take a taxi to the city centre, which should cost about 150 NOK (about 11 £), or you can stay at one of the pubs close to the shuttle bus (sjøboden, scruffy murphy are two pubs that should be open quite long)". Only two weeks to go......!!!
